Cinema Galleggiante, or The Floating Cinema is a project conceived by Edoardo Aruta and Paolo Rosso presented by Microclima, in collaboration with Ocean Space - TBA21−Academy, Pentagram Stiftung, Palazzo Grassi - Punta della Dogana - Pinault Collection, In Between Art Film Foundation, and Lamyland - Owenscorp.
The programming of the Floating Cinema - Unknown Waters is the result of the collaboration with forty-five institutions and associations who were called upon to propose a series of screenings, performances, and presentations that deal with the notion of travel, the idea of physical, emotional, or imaginary journeys. The festival will take on various forms over the course of its twelve evenings, each of which will be characterized by a specific theme at its core.
On the occasion of Ark Re-imagined participation in the International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, Cinema Galleggiante presents an exclusive short film that is part of the Expeditionary Pavilion.
