Aristeo Mora de Anda is a stage director, graduated from the Royal Higher School of Dramatic Art of Madrid and a Master's in Scenic Practice and Visual Culture from the University of Alcalá, the Reina Sofía National Art Center Museum and ARTEA (Spain). Born in 1988 in the city of Guadalajara, Mexico. He works at the Optional Company, a research group dedicated to creating experimental pieces and contexts for the performing arts. His works have been presented in theatres in Mexico, Spain, France, Argentina, Colombia, Cuba and Ecuador. He has worked for the Foundation for the Study of Sciences and Arts (FECIAR), coordinating the Laboratory of Applied Imagination and Intelligence (LIIA) from 2016 to 2018. He worked for the Siemens-Stiftung Foundation of Germany as curator of Revealed Spaces Guadalajara 2019/20. As a teacher, he has worked in different institutions such as the Bachelor of Arts of the Ministry of Culture of the State of Jalisco, the University of Guadalajara, in the Center for the Arts of San Luis Potosí and Guanajuato, in ITESO and in multiple meetings, colloquia, seminars and congresses around the world. He currently lives and works between Guadalajara Jalisco and Saltillo Coahuila and is a Young Creator 2020-2021 by FONCA.
