George Richards is Director of Community Jameel, an international organisation tackling some of the world’s most urgent challenges, using a pioneering approach grounded in evidence, science, data and technology.
George is a specialist assessor for the British government's Cultural Protection Fund, a Trustee of the Prince's Foundation and a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland. George was previously the Special Rapporteur for Cultural Heritage to the Kurdistan Regional Government in Iraq and a Senior Fellow of Iraq Heritage.
He holds a First in Arabic and Persian from the University of Edinburgh.
