Senior Rehabilitation Specialist
A certified psychiatric rehabilitation professional, Kula has expertise in art therapy, mentalizing and the development stages of emerging adults. Her research interests include mentalization-based art therapy, about which she is currently writing a book.
She has presented at local and national conferences on art therapy, mentalization-based art therapy and cultivating creativity and is a member of the American Art Therapy Association, the South Texas Art Therapy Association and the Creative Arts Therapists in the Texas Medical Center.
Kula earned her master's degree in Art Therapy Counseling from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville and her bachelor's degrees in Studio Art and Biology from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
In her spare time, Kula enjoys traveling, painting and letting others know about the power of creativity.
