CHAIRMAN, THE FUTURE IS UNWRITTEN
John is the Chair of The Future is Unwritten, an international initiative calling for urgent cooperation between the Arts Sector and United Nations Agencies in order to amplify and accelerate implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Born in New York City, John has organized and lead art initiatives and exhibitions worldwide. Most recently he produced a documentary film on the Antarctic Biennale, a UN sponsored expedition aboard a scientific research vessel with a hundred artists, scientists and global thinkers. Collaborating with leading museums, foundations, universities and artists his focus has been on addressing the UN SDGs through the power of art. He is a Director at PMB Capital, a private equity firm and merchant bank. He was previously the CFO of Time Link International and held several positions in private equity and investment banking at Health Enterprise Partners, Credit Suisse, UBS and Wheat First Butcher Singer. He has held board level positions at Behavioral Centers of American (a network of Psych Hospitals), Texas Gulf Bank, the Blaffer Museum and the Blessed Foundation. John lives with his wife Celiane in London, England.
